SANTO DOMINGO. - Numerous taxi companies raised fares in the Dominican capital Santo Domingo, although the regulatory entity (CART) didn’t authorize it, newspaper El Dia reports.

The companies Apolo, Tierra Taxi and Taxi Paraiso raised fares as high as 30 pesos, said the newspaper after requesting the service.

However, fares among taxi companies can vary as high as 30 percent although CART president Santiago Caba affirms the fares can’t be raised.

In the Santo Domingo province and the National District 61 taxi companies operate around 16,700 vehicles, El Dia said.

And although many taxi passengers immediately rejected the measure, they also noted that it could be the result of higher fuel prices.

We have thousands of customers who are saving up to 20% on their fuel usage with out product which is a one time treatment for engine, transmission and fuel system.

I have been attempting to bring this product to the DR and am looking for a distributor. I have beed to the DR many times and have tested our products there.

How do you think I can go about helping those of you who have been hurt by the fuel price increases.?

I am wanting to bring this product to the DR. Any advise would be helpful to me and your people.

We have radio personalities like the Car Doctor, Ron Ananian and Curtis Sliwa (Guardian Angle Founder) who have promoted our products after they have seen the results.
