Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic.-  With the presence of governmental and municipal authorities, representatives of community organizations and socio-cultural clubs, the Vicini Group broke ground for the construction of Nuevo Guayacanes, with homes, businesses, schools and a recreational complex featuring its own energy, potable water, streets and security.

There are currently 62 business locales, with a baseball field to be built soon, as part of a first block of 112 residential solutions, green areas, clinic and a police post.

Heading the groundbreaking were Juan B. Vicini, Johnny Acevedo and the mayor Ramon Custodio, who said the project will bring new growth and progress opportunities for the beneficiaries, contributing significantly to improve their quality of life.

You are right, not too hard when you are a member of the lucky sperm club, inherit your great-great-great grandfather's land grant, and continue to pay your workers US$11 a week, is it?

I'm sure they'll make ample use of illegal Haitian labor.

I was to write the same comment as yours.

Vicini's =1800's Italian immigrant family that has preyed, used & abused the true native inhabitants of Hispanola island since their arrival. The people of Hispanola/Dominican republic should eradicate anyone from anywhere in the world that comes to Hispanola /Dominican Republic, only to leech like parasites from a land that is not theirs. Make sure to exterminate the local cockroaches that do their bidding as well. It's nice to start with a clean slate. Just a humble thought. ;o)
