Moscow.- Dominican Republic is interested in showing its diverse products of quality to conquer the Russian Federation’s ample market of 140 million inhabitants including cacao, coffee and other organics, and cigars and rum.

Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD) director Eddy Martinez, speaking to a group of business leaders and investments promoters in the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce, where arose the idea of creating an enterprise club which can motor trade with the Dominicans. “The enterprise club is a great idea and we hope it can be materialized soon.”

The official, in the presentation together with Foreign Relations minister Carlos Morales and the first official delegation which visits Russia, said that country has played a fundamental role in humanity’s advance.

“The potential is there to identify where the Russian Federation and the Dominican Republic can collaborate for the sake of formalizing agreements, developing business projects and cooperating together,” the CEI-RD director said.

Russians don't buy organic! They are not the type. Germans, Canadians, French, Italians, Swiss, Austrian, Belgians, Dutch, those are the nations that buy organic. Civilised Western nations are the target for organic foods. Russians do not fit that prototype. The few filthy rich Russians that are left after the credit crisis like very expensive items, but they are not so conscious about the planet nor about nature or things like that. They can't be bothered with that sort of thing...
