It is very easy for someone who is guilty of such a dispicible crime to create such low blows as to say that we are drug addicts, instead of the hotel saying, we lost it and we are wrong. I find it unspeakable that you would victimize me again. As for Playa Dorada, we are not the only case of abuse to foreigners. That is always why the DR is suffering from low tourism numbers. As for the witnesses, we also have them (they were actually fired when they wanted to speak the truth about the hotel and we have a separate witness who is not related t the hotel as well.). The hotels in Playa Dorada are all in bed together and would say anything not to tarnish there reputation along with the ministry of tourism in Puerto Plata. Maybe the world should wake up and smell the corruption and try to stop it instead of let it continue. I had the balls to put my number on the internet. As god as my witness, justice will prevail. My husband never stole anything from the hotel, it is there cheap attempts to excuse their unexcusable behavior. If my husband stole something, he would have been arrested, why was he never arrested? Why is that not documented in the primary police report? They make so many claims, but where is their evidence? They also claimed that he destroyed hotel property which never happened and was also never mentioned in the primary police report. Sounds like a guilty conscience to me. Why have they not spoken to any news media reports who offered to hear both of the sides? Why did they hire five lawyers and paid off people to make us go away? I have medical records and documentation proving my case which the corrupt district attorney would not even look at the evidence that was documented by three separate hospitals. I doubt that three separate hospitals could all have conspired against the hotel. The papers are real unlike their low attempts to sweep the truth under the carpet. Shame on you! Shannon Lazard

One additional note: Perhaps the reason that Luigi Di Ciaccio, the manager at Casa Colonial, has so much hostility toward women and assaulted my wife, is because his newly married wife openly discloses that she sleeps regularly with other men, hitting on me, my brother and anyone in arm's reach. It is common knowledge among employees at the hotel and something she herself will not deny. Therefore, draw your own conclusions: Wouldn't a man who falls short in one crucial area try to overcompensate in another. Small dick, big wallet?

Ms. Lazard, whomever is posting under domimotion and cetou is not fooling anyone. The techniques they are trying to employ, such as discrediting your person, are old and tired. It's not a coincidence that both cetou and domimotion decided to join these forums only after your initial post and even less of a coincidence that they both tried to misdirect the public into thinking that your actions were the end result of arrogant foreigners and by alluding that your actions were an insult to the Dominican people. Also, for someone who in one post suggested not jumping to any assumptions domimotion in his second post made it more then clear who he/she considers who should be the guilty parties in this whole fiasco thereby negating everything he/she had originally posted. ¿Como es el dicho? Oh yea: Te conosco bacalao aunque venga disfrasao.

By the way whomever is domimotion is no Dominican. It's very simple to prove.

Notice in my initial post I didn't mention myself as being perhaps the type of Dominican I was referring to. This "domi"motion automatically assumes I was talking about myself, when I did no such thing. Now I ask all the Dominicans who post on here: what Dominican worth his weight in salt would negate my initial comment and give props to some Kraut named "dieter"? LOLOL. A dominican never. Maybe some guinea posting out of Puerto Plata trying to save his aura of respectability.

Further clarification: Neither my wife nor I take any drugs. I walk around occasionally with my shirt off but who doesn't in a tropical climate. The hotel is sounding more and more desperate as the reality of their error sets in. Strange how the media seems to be backing my wife and I (see page 6, NY Post, July 8) and the hotel has refused to return calls to any of the press. Nuria, the biggest voice of righteousness in the DR is about to blow the story out of the water. So my advice to you sceptics, maybe you shoud start wandering around a bit and see what God wants you to do. --Justin L

oh, and thank you Cetou and Donimotion for the info. Our US attorney is using it as evidence of defamation of character in our case. Accusing a pregnant women of using drugs is a pretty low blow. By the way, when's the last time either of you went to church???

Further, the guard's hand allegation is another fabrication. He neither went to the hospital nor ever made such a claim. Get a clue boys, or a job. Seems you have too much time on your hands...

This site is partially quite prejudiced, biased and always deleting members' interactive conversation and stuffs especially if they suspect that you are Haitian, part Haitian or that you are not in favor of most views shared by most Dominicans. They are very choosy as to who they delete as yo can see extremist racists like Arc, Carlos and much of the insulting things they have to say never get censored nor do they ever get reprimanded. Watch ho long it will take them to delete this comment if you do not read it in time.
