Hello everyone in DR

Could you please offer me any information relating to elevator market in Dominican Republic? I search many websites and find that it seems a very prosprous market in Caribbean Sea.

So appreciated if you could share me your idea with me.

Thanks, everyone.

james, the problem with elevators in the DR is electricity. i can assure you that i would never get in an elevator in this country. with the tendency for electricity service to be interrupted at any moment, i would rather take the stairs, thank you!

Great idea!

However some business, major businesses have automatic back generators and if they are major businesses with the means to afford putting an elevator, they can pay their electricity bill unless it is a general blackout which in that case the back generator is there for that. I am more worried about Hurricanes, Tornados or Cyclones and lastly Earthquakes. As we all know the Island has active volcanos that have been dormant and when Volcanos are often dormant for so long, it is becoming harder to predict their next eruption because there is no existing activity patterns to follow for them to give an estimate of predictability which makes them even way more dangerous.
