The climate is definately the main point, it dictates the type of clothing they use, and since we have summer all year long, we don't have a hot season and a cold one, just hot all the time

I’m a firm believer in the aphorism “when in Rome do as the Romans do” and since I’m not in the DR, at the moment(studying here in London), and don’t really come in contact with many Dominicans; much less one's of the opposite sex I really can‘t do my research(I was speaking I jest).

Diego,The answer to your question is a complicated one, because to me; beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder and the beauty in DR’s women is kind of personal (to me), I can’t send anybody to my great-grandmothers house and hear her give a discourse on how the country in going to hell in a hand basket(while refusing to leave the DR for any reason) or my aunts house off Anacaona ave and have her make them “Arroz con Leche “ like when I was little because it just wont mean as much to them. There many other Dominican women in family and others that I know personally, that(in my opinion) exhibit true beauty and strength.
Ps if your question was in any way meant in a pugnacious or supercilious manner sorry to disappoint you sir, I’m not of that stock. And just for sense of argument there are more women then men in the world why I would ever go to the DR and pay for it, kind takes all the fun out of it lol.

I do like the variety of "styles" that you can find in the DR, specially in Santo Domingo, where one must say, women are very careful in apprearing good, with nice clothes, always wearing makeup (many times too much!) and so on. But, after 7 years in the DR I made a trip to NY, and I must say that it was a good contrast. Women in the DR are very beautifull, but one good factor is that you will always be atracted to the appearance of women of other countries since it's not what you're used to see.

But, definately, woman in DR have a higher rate of nice women vs ugly woman (putting that comment in a very raw manner, hopefully I don't offend anyone).

Yes, I think theres one in DR1 but i guess we are quite different.

Dominican women. They so attractive man. Beautiful smile, sexy bodies, smart, intelligent. They are the best in the world. I love my women ! It doesn't get any better. They are just special.

Well I have to say that if you are referring to visual beauty then that depends on ones perceptual, geographical and comparative experiences. If you are including the emotional, personal qualities and attributes then I may still not wholeheartedly agree. I may agree to some extent but not wholeheartedly. I say this based on the ratio of beautiful to ugly Dominican women that I have met both in DR and abroad and unfortunately the ratio is not a favorable one. And in my opinion it's not getting better. Examples of this is Venezuelan, Colombian, Cuban, all having a high ratio. But now when you consider personality then this changes the entire picture. Example Cuban woman in Miami are very beautiful visually physically, but unfortunately I find to be abrasive, demanding, high maintenance and have several racial splinters that are not visible at first sight. This I say from my personal experience.
