In this perspective, it encourages the Minister of Foreign Affairs to implement its promise to provide the consulates of human rights units capable of providing services to the Haitian community.



The GARR insists that a thorough investigation be conducted around these new murders and several other developments since the beginning of 2009. He claims the end of impunity for the perpetrators so that such incidents do not recur. For building public opinion, the GARR publishes a non-exhaustive list of serious incidents occurred between January and April 2009 against the Haitian immigrants in Dominican Republic.



January 2009

2 January 2009: In the "La Cumbre" Esperanza (near Santiago), unknown persons killed by a bullet to the head, Luc Georges, a Haitian 36-year-old (Source almomento.net);

So you are telling me you went to Google and out of 2 trillin results you found 25 case which by the way 18 were taken to Dominican Hospital out of the 2 million Haitians here. you will find more than 25 cases in Haiti kiling haitians on a dayli basis. Why don't you start a thread that is constructive on Ideas to help Haiti and get out of Canada and visit your family and friends.

I understand your frustration as a Haitian national, but remember, the Haitian government is to blame on all of the atrocities that the Haitian civilians go through. It's not the Dominicans that cause many of your compatriots to migrate into the DR. If you rathe eat spiders than go to DR, that's all on you but keep in mind that many of your compatriots rather go to the DR and get "mistreated and humiliated" than eat mudcookies and spiders and feces and God knows what in your country Haiti.
