Perhaps some of the Dominicans who live in DR can give me some info. as to why that area seems to be a perpetual hot spot regarding illegal activity. I know it's a border town, but is it like a wild west?
Why does it seem, at lease from the articles I read, that CESFRONT is somehow crippled in their abilities to fullfill their duties? Either by Jesuits or the local merchants?

@ generoso, no surprise. I'm not one to play the victim, but there is and has always been a gigantic hypocritical double standard with these things. I wonder if I too can use the race card.
I wonder what goes on in Leonels mind regarding this whole issue.

this is a border town that has alot of illegal activity going on. the dominican population is very scarce in these areas and haitians are dominating the zones. many of the dominicans that reside in these areas are up to no good. many haitians will do whatever it takes to survive even if it means destroying our landscape. it is all overlooked though as race is the biggest issue everyone and human rights organizations make the biggest deal about. leonel is too caught up in trying to make d.r into a mini new york so he is too busy.

It baffles me as I find it also funny the amount of focus put on Haiti and Haitians by Dominican members posting on here who at the same time crying for Haitians to not come to this site. Many Dominicans on here thrive on negative stories to constantly have something to "B!tch" about or to furthermore attempt to demonize Haiti and Haitians. It is not like they would ever look for good news or on matters that other can see are good about or benefiting Haiti and Haitians. No, duh because their stances are not that humanitarian-(istical).

As they often are the same people who already have deemed Haitians as less than humans with their racist views, rants and defaming agendas and campaigns often they are engaged in religiously. Take a good look on this site, you will find that most of the threads getting the most hits and attentions are the threads that are Haitian related topics. Whether it is still the known resentments at work or pure hatred for Haitians being manifested on here, it appears that Haitian related subjects or Dominican-Haitian relations are the lifeblood for this site. Reports of matters which can bring further division are what most readers on here want to always have reasons and motives behind their derogatory hatred stances. Stories on issues of killings, conflicts and other means that are negatively deteriorating the work for better relations between the two estates are what many of you seem to be interested in seeing on here.

Thus in way that many on here may seem oblivious to, this constant vindictive agenda of hate actually is doing exactly, in one way or the other, proving furthermore more basis for the intertwined dynamical reality of the existing relations between the two nations which need great improvements on all fronts as we can never expect them to actually post good news about Haiti because then, that would defeat their divisive goal and agenda they have in mind.

P.S: I know most radical extremists whoa re spewing hatred on here with their deep held resentments do not want to see improvement in terms of or for better relations between the two nations. The divisive dynamic keeps them in business. They only look for negativity anywhere they can find it about Haiti to justify their hatred.

I agree with this post 100%.

you mean you agree with yourself?...!!!

Might as well "fix" your last few posts as those posts were effectively, swiftly, and rightfully deleted.

You most likely have an overactive imagination with some paranoia, and your race-obsession and reducing every subject to race all the time makes you the racist, a bigot...So, save the patronizing tone, your cheap shots and little rhetorical gimmicks don't impress one bit.
