There you go again divining on something that was not written or quoted or attributed to anyone. The entire thrust of what I have written today is that most people are lashing out at the presidentail candidates when they only enact what comes from the idiots in congress!!!!!

the tax code sucks, and is far too cumbersome. but simplifying it with a tax on consumption is plain asinine. can you understand the degree of collusion which would take place? get this; we are talking about tax on goods AND SERVICES...yes, tax on haircuts, dry cleaning, root canals, you get the picture? if i own a department store, and sell furs, how many of my friends are going to get them without paying the tax? just like they do now? hey, if people do not want to pay 7% city sales tax, and cross bridges to avoid paying them, can you imagine the skullduggery to avoid paying 33% on a maserati?

oh, i forgot. consumption tax also applies to interest payment. so, instead of getting a tax break for the interest you pay on a home mortgage, you pay the 33% on top of that! the real estate guys will just love that!

Tax on services is a state mandate. Here in Florida we have no such thing. Just as we have no state income tax.

Had to dig deep for this. Do you think more is on the way?

Hi to all the McCain people who are happy about their convention bounce. National polls really don't matter look at the electoral map.

Obama is already at like 243 while McCain is still at 189. You only need 270 to win and that's actually leaving off some of the battleground states that are heavily leaning Obama.
