When the US army was planning the Haitian invasion, they had just had the bad experience in Somalia,
where the natives were descendants of some of the most ruthless and brave African tribes in history, offering to the exclusive and elite Delta Force a sad taste of the war even though the casualties were mostly Somalian.
The Haitian army had even better military equipment like big cannons, large caliber machine guns,
mortars, explosives, plenty of weapons of all kinds and ammunition, so the US army, and marines feared
a repeat of the Somalia experience and even worse.
But the Haitians turned out to be a paper tiger, and quickly folded and ran without even putting up a token fight. Some officers were caught dressed as nuns and priests in their haste to run to safety.
Now this same army had been the most brutal in repressing the poor defenseless citizens and

As brutal as they were beating, torturing, necklacing, and murdering unarmed civilians, when confronted with a well trained and well armed opponent force they ran and dressed like women. That is a fact.
