Im afraid DN is right, especially in the North Coast the majority of construction and field workers are Hation, while Dominicans work as taxi drivers or motoconchos. thats just my observation in the North Coast. Why do you think these wealthy foreigners, Buy land and built condos that they end up selling , from $100,000 to a Million dollars a pop, Cheap labor baby!!

Better yet this week i will drive over to the construction sites and taxi and motoconcho sites , and i will take some pictures,and you pick out were i made an " exaggerated assumption! "
