No, we're a homogeneous society. 100% black.

I would have to disagree. As much as this may sound like music to my ears to hear (lol). DR is not homogeneously a society of 100% Black regardless of ow Moreno (rized) it is getting. Allow me to say mi amigo, you are wrong on that.

It's ok, you're a little slow.

I just did not get the sarcasm right off top (lol). Given his persistence on the subject, I though he actually was being serious... I guess I am a little slow on that one. Good one!

I agree with the posters here, she is rather common as far as looks go. To be blunt, she is neither beautiful or ugly based purely on those pics. Of course in real life she may have a personality that makes her more or less beautiful than just her physique and features.

I can honestly tell you I've seen much better looking regular everyday girls walkiing around in Santo Domingo or even the campos in Las Matas de Farfan & San Juan De La Maguana. And those places are not even famed for the beauty of their women.
As far as what my personal tastes are, I really like what probably here would be considered "exotic types". As a US Dominican, I found myself attracted to the combination of beautifully toned skin (canela, bronze, etc. ), straight black hair and fine features and also the Andalusian type beauties (phenotypically similar to Amelia Vega).

Oh Amelia Vega is fvcking hot, man!!! Oh hell yeah, all day sizzling hot!

RE: Racism among Dominicans
Check Miss Teen Dominicana, Laura Baez very nice.

http://www.dominicantoday.com/dr/forum/living-in-the-dr/general-info/1712/MISS-DOMINICAN-REPUBLIC--Throughout-the-History/4

Laura Baez is the true Dominican phenotype. She is a mixture of all three races but you cant tell what is her race. This is where the problem comes in for outsiders. They want to force her to pick a race.
She is not black, but definately not white, though she is predominaely caucausian with Taino features. Now is she dark skin because of Taino ancestry or because of a black background?
What do you think?

I think I want to be Dominican again. Pase la mama juana compay!

No, that;s a typical Haitian girl.
This is a cibaena:

I decided since you're a youngster, this one would be more suitable.

Dude, why did you post that?

To show you how proud a Black nation we are. No triracial crackettes in DR!.

Well,

Because I often consider any colored nations or nations of predominantly colored people to be black nations no matter the variations simply because no matter what the mixes are, white people only see the colored races are blacks.

Prime example: Obama is 50/50 of both White & Black, but what do they call him...? Oh yeah, the first African-American President as I do not hear them say the first mixed or mulatto President.

Another reason is because black is dominant in every aspect....black features and genes are almost always dominant in an offspring of multiracial parents.
