Business SCAM !
I live in USA. I paid a company registered in FLorida to ship some scrap metal. But the company had not delivered the materials. It is not returning the money either. We have legal documents signed by the company. I would like to know what are the options I have, to recover the money.

Any comments/advice grealty appreciated

We'll, I'd start by contacting a lawyer. Maybe you should get in contact with a Dominican lawyer. Try not to get ripped off again by such lawyer.

It all depends on how much $$$ was involved in the transaction, and also how big of a company it was.

Is the shipper a Shipping Company or Supplier

Your entry leaves a lot of unanswered questions:
=========

Who did you purchase your scrap metals from? ( dont have give real names) and Where e.g city state country?

Who was contracted to ship the goods (common carrier, i.e steamship carrier shipping company etc)

At destination who were the goods consigned to?

Where are the goods? City states country?
============

If goods are on the property of the Shipping company or Govt authority you may be in luck.

In any case you will need a lawyer.

And so, my fellow "Dominicans", ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.
