Where Can I get a Good Deal on DR Vacation Package?
Hi, I will like to take another trip to DR soon, does anybody know or can recomend a good site to purchase a vaca - package? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what city you are in , but Spirit Airlines have flights for $65.00 USD one way to Dominican Republic (this is base on what city you are flying out of). , a couple of my friends are going down there soon. You can see if they have a package to go with that.

If you're planning on getting a resort package, I think it's better to visit a travel agency once there (if you're staying with family for a while). They have the scoop on which resorts haven't filled up their rooms and you can usually get amazing deals. Prices are cheaper because they're expecting to sell to locals rather than foreigners.

That is a good idea, I visit Dominican Republic several times a year and never thought about Booking a package while I'm there.

Thank you DominicanChic! I talked to a relative and he said that if I want to save money on my resort stay, is best to have a Dominican National make the reservations for you... Which I had no idea??? He will be able to get my stay at about $50 US Dollars per night instead of about $100 per night! Weird uh?

Ok... I don't want you all dying of jealousy! I am Walking on water!!! I will be leaving tomorrow to DR! I will spend a week in
Punta Cana & a week in Puerto Plata!!!

Very cool. Me and my wife travel once a year to DR and had no idea that it was cheaper to book as a local. Why did i not think of that before. Very cool.

yesterday my friends booked on Expedia at Embassy Suites in Juan Dolio 2 room suite with breky buffet for 89 bucks a night with short shuttle to private beach with private pool also lovely pool at hotel on a long weekend Who in their right mind would want to stay at Rubber chicken drink till you puke cheesy all inclusive This place was very nice and what a bargain Remember a two room suite on a golf course with shuttle to a private beach with pool 89 dollars with breky buffet for 2 people.....its like a sore dick YOU CANT BEAT IT
