SANTO DOMINGO.- The La Vega Judicial District penal judges yesterday challenged senator Euclides Sanchez to publicly present the evidence that proves their alleged complicity with drug trafficking.
In a declaration read to the press by the jurisdiction’s Court of Appeals Penal Chamber vice president Mario Mariot, describes the legislator’s charges as “irresponsible, libelous and defamatory which seek to stain the honor and good reputation of we the judges who administer justice in La Vega province."
They argue that Sanchez made his declaration "in a general, vague and abstract manner, without indicating which judicial facts, decisions or activities and which of those judges in particular can be implicated as alleged complicities.”
The magistrates consider that you lie more eloquent before those declarations reveal the sentences that denote the work carried out by the courts this demarcation, under the present scheme justice administration.
