SOSUA, Dominican Republic. - The Tourism Police (POLITUR) arrested 30 women accused of prostitution and of harassing tourists, in a sweep headed by the captain Pedro de la Cruz, who said many of the detainees had been mugging the foreigners.
It was also reported that women of Haitian nationality are among the detainees.
The POLITUR officer said all of the women were sent to Puerto Plata’s Office of the Prosecutor, and that the arrests were ordered after persistent complaints from Sosúa and Puerto Plata and hotels even tourists, that the foreign visitors were being mugged and harassed.
According to the complaints, some of the women invited the tourists to have sex but instead gave the foreigners drugs to put them to sleep, to steal their wallets cameras, jewelry and other items.

Thanks but im in located in Cabarete and most of the problem is in Sosua.
Cabarete is the Surfing town, Sosua is more of the whoring town, and Politur use to be the Pimps.lol

I saw that with my own eyes, with my son and grandaughters, and was not a pretty sight

Prostitution is legal here in case any of you didn't realize that. Also Politur in Sosua was NOT replace, just the Policia National.
There are plenty of women her that aren't prostitutes that love sex and love older foreign men.
The majority of the Domincan men are "Machista and have 3 or more girlfriends.
Thats why the Cabana's are full everyone out getting some strat
Unlike American/European (excluding eastern Europe) Latin women see older as better.
These mugger /hookers are giving the good ones a bad name.
But then like some one said some of thse guys must really be idiots and probably deserve to get hustled.

Au contraire, one of the primary reasons many of these women who enjoy sex seek older men is because of the many opportunities that arise from any relationships formed, not necessarily because of a natural attraction to physical and personal qualities. It is simply stated, Opportunity. Dominicans are forever ambitious about an opportunity.
