Santo domingo.- The Business Software Alliance-BSA, Microsoft Dominicana and the National District Attorney's Office today said the raids against computer equipment stores have increased for breaking the Law 65-00 on Intellectual Property and Copyright.
In recent months, both in the National District and in Santo Domingo Province, more than 12 computer assemblers and shops were searched to prevent the sale of equipment containing pre- installed computer programs without licenses. As a result of the raids, over 15 computers with unoriginal software installed were seized.

Who are they kidding.
Today is a good to start.
Any sensible decent citizen of the world wouldn't even be debating the differenc between right and wrong. And pirating is wrong just like selling fake medicine is wrong or cutting some off while driving.
Besides the fact they are stealing they are hurting the software company in another way. If a consumer purchases a product and it is of inferior quality it will cause a negative perception of the company. So if the product is inferior due to no fault of the company than it is hurt.
How can you type with all that noise from the Black Helicopters flying over your place?
BTW it was the Rosenbergs.
