NEW YORK.- The body of of the Dominican-born soldier Alex Jiménez arrived Thursday in New York, his final place resting, where he was received by relatives, friends and the community that saw him grow in the sector Corona, of the borough Queens.
The body of the soldier, who was missing for 14 months after his captured in Iraq on May 12, 2007, was transferred from Massachusetts - where his wife Yaderlin Hiraldo lived with him- to Queens, where the community received him with a funeral procession.

Wish you fair winds and following seas, Jimenez. I know they have a prestigious spot for you in heaven. I fly down to Santiago tomorrow and will be driving by your old town of Navarete -- I'll say a prayer for you when passing through. God Bless.
