Santo Domingo. - The Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) Thursday morning said a small plane which Dominican choppers chased into Haiti and kept it from airdropping cocaine near Pedernales (southwest) fell to the sea, whose crew were rescued by an Italian ship and are now in the custody of the Guatemala Police.

The report said Air Force and Army helicopters forced the small plane with the drug to head into Haitian territory Tuesday night, through the border town Elías Piña. It said the plane did manage to drop the drug near the Haitian community Le Source, eight miles west o f the Dominican town Bánica.

It’s the second time in 10 days Dominican aircraft are sent to intercept a cocaine-laden plane, as the first airdrop was thwarted eight days ago in area of the National Park of the East, also using Air Force helicopters.

They had to be way far out to be brought to Guatemala Police rather than Dominican Police.Maybe we will need the assistance of the Haitian Authorities in this matter. that is, if we really want to solve the issue, remember that is not water that separates us from Haiti, and it could become very popular to have the coccaine drop in Haiti and brought in DR.

According to long heard news, they fixed the Aereopuerto in Barahona so that the Super Tucanes could operate from that airport sometime in November.

Who notified police of the entry of this plane,

because I don't think they'll be stupid enough to fly on airspace for more than so much time where they are making a delivery (30 min is maximun flight time allowed)

Hey guys just to heat up this article. have any of you heard how much did the Baldera family pay for the releasing of their kidnap son. I was at place the other day and someone say that they paid 5.5 millions pesos for the release of their son. That's why the police and that guy from the human right watchdog are so please with results of this event.

While the DR helos were chasing this plane, 15 others landed on an airstrip in Jarabacoa and unloaded into protected SUVs which then drove the dope to STI and loaded into food carts on American Airlines facilitating distribution world wide.

It's commons sense. We are to call thing for their names and how they are no for how they look. The plane must have felt into haitian waters, yet they were brought to Guatemala, No Jamaica or Panama Canal, but Guatemala, don't you think that is way to wierd. you cannot be on anyone's sea water without permission, and if there is a ship in international waters and there is an accident they own Jurisdiction to that country. If that plane crashed in Guatemal's water then it was far out there after the so call authorities of Dominican Republic had contact with then, so in other words. I don't belive none of it.
