Santo Domingo.– Three more children died because of dengue in the Dominican Republic, with which the number of deaths in the country increased to 36 due to a disease that has affected over 4,000 persons in the national territory.
One of the children was identified as Michael Martinez, 2, who lived in the Los 40 section of Cristo Rey. Two of them were in intensive care at the Robert Reid Cabral Children's Hospital, where they were received in critical condition.
With theses deaths, the number of fatalities at the hospital rose to 12. The hospital has diagnosed more than 800 cases, of which more than 400 are the hemorrhagic variety of dengue.
According to representatives of the National Department of Epidemiology, many cases are confused with respiratory problems for which some patients that are taken to hospitals are given antibiotics which complicates the problem.

If you go on the metro you will be immune to the dengue.
