Two Dominican fugitives extradited to the U.S.
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Supreme Court’s (SCJ) Penal Chamber Wednesday morning ruled to extradite Ernesto Bienvenido Guevara Diaz (Maconi) to the United States, where he’ll face several counts of drug trafficking and money laundering as an alleged member of Quirino Paulino’s drug trafficking organization.
Presiding justice Hugo Alvarez Valencia ruled for the Justice Ministry’s extradition request submitted by Assistant DA Gisela Cueto and the lawyer for the United States Analdi Alcantara Abreu, arguing that Guevara must face several charges pending in New York South District Court.
According to the documents filed as evidence by the United States, Guevara loaded and escorted the truck with 1,387 kilos of cocaine seized from Paulino north of the Capital on December, 18 2004, the country’s biggest ever confiscation of drugs.
Guevara is currently being held in a special cell for extraditables in Nayajo Prison, San Cristóbal (south).
More extraditions
Two Dominican fugitives of United States justice were extradited last night to face drug trafficking charges in New York, from where they escaped.
The Drugs Control Agency said Ramon Gutiérrez, aka Ramon Alberto Gutiérrez Perez; and Alejandro Martinez Garcia, alias Alex Martinez, were taken out of the country via the Las Americas International Airport aboard American Airlines flight 1582.

I wonder is Pierre Ruquoy and Christopher Hartley enter this site with fake name to trash the country.
I guess they lost it.
