Santo Domingo.- Javier Lopez ran the best time in the second warm-ups prior to the Auto Drag Entertainment Fever, carried out in Dominican Republic’s Mobil 1 race track on Wednesday.

Lopez, in his Chevrolet Camaro ‘General Lee’, ran a record 8.75 seconds to take the night’s top award in his free run, easily beating Isidoro de los Santos’ 9.93 seconds in the first day of drag racing on Saturday.

It doesn't really matter too much as the car only has to do a quarter mile :P

I've been a few times to the drag races in the Autodromo and they are quite amazing!
