Santo Domingo.- The sportsman and entepreneur Federico Lebron announced on Thursday the Fede Cup Golf 2008, to be held August 2 in Metro Country Marlins in Juan Dolio (east), with the modality Scramble played in pairs, with tee-ff at 9 a.m.
The event’s organizer together with his brother Tomas said the contest will be played on his birthday to share with friends, professionals and business associates, and promised a good golf competition.
As to the technical information, Lebron said the play categories are A, B and C in men, women, and mixed partners, with prizes for each each division leader and the special Fede Cup 2008 Champion award for the best overall score.
They said the registrations are accepted until July 30, at a cost of RD$3,500 per person.

Don't take this personal......But I will donate more, And if you don't mine I'll donate it under your name but please remember some have little and donate a lot, some have a lot and donate nothing, maybe you'll apply for a job as a Caddy and get hired and be payed around 100 Dom. pesos a day with extras if your lucky, but after reading the last reply you probably already payed the RD $3,500 up front.. I will contact an old friend of mine who by the way knows Tiger Woods, Tiger's father was at one time in the U.S Army......as one Vet to another, May GOD REST HIS SOUL from an UNTHANKFUL NATION, a Country who has yet seen the contributions payed for in blood by many generations before her.

2. Tiger Woods Father did serve in the U.S Army.
3. I served in the U.S Armed Forces, when my orders came to deploy to Iraq the war ended.
4. I don't play Golf, never have and probably never will. [Golf has become big $$ business]
5. No body starves in the U.S [welfare, food stamps etc..etc..] or try to rob people like me.

Tiger's Father is a Afro American and his Mother is Korean, yes Tigers father did realize that his Son would have it rough growing up in America so I guess that's why he named him Tiger [a fighter, el Tigre as he is known in the Latin American Country's] since I'm not a Tiger spokesman I'll leave it at that.

These new golf resorts bring in a higher clientel that pay workers more money and create jobs.

True Tiger's Dad was in the U.S Army and I believe he also served in Vietnam. The Tiger in Korean Culture and many other Asian Cultures is symbol of strength, power and beauty..... The Tigers of the Republic of Korea [ROK] Army are some of the best fighting Soldiers in the World I had the pleasure of training with the ROK 1st Tiger Battalion [SOP] in 1988 these guys are super tough trained they made our Unit look like Mickey Mouse and the Gang, the ROK Army in general train with the real stuff....And just in case my new found Friend TFISKE should ask or questioned......Heres all I will say.....TFISKE, I was part of Team Spirit "1988" Show of Force in early Spring before the Korean Olympics, I was attached with the 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey, South Korea....And thanks again some of my best friends in America are Canadians Americans, I'll end with this, I believe "Just because there is one bad apple, doesn't mean the whole tree is bad"

I have never went nor do I ever plan on going to a any high priced Golf Resort both in the U.S or in the Dom. Rep. I don't play golf, I go to Resorts to enjoy the Sun, Sand, and as far as food, Peoples of the World eat all sorts of so called food which I would consider YUK ! and they pay a hefty price for it too, that's on them. Oh and by the way mostly all the Resorts including High Priced Golf Resorts pay their employees about the same in the DR from what I'm told, which is close to nothing. AND THE NUMBER OF STARVED TO DEATH IN NEW ORLEANS IS ? I'm waiting for the numbers.......Terrorist / Murderers like killing in high numbers [there in the numbers game], they love KILLING THE INNOCENT, they love winning the hearts and minds of spineless individuals to justify there cause. Because I care about you ! please beware while teeing off at one of those High Priced Resorts the golf ball you hit may be a terrorist laden exploding golf ball. GOD BLESS YOU.
