SANTO DOMINGO. - The Internal Taxes Agency (DGII) last night opened the operations of its new world class informatics center, with leading edge Information the Communication Technology (TIC), with improved security for the taxpayers’ information.

The datacenter will allow attending 6,000 taxpayers constantly, receive 18,000 connections and up to 50,400 transactions per hour in days of peak service demand.

The new equipment is 10 times faster than the DGII’s previous datacenter, said its director Juan Hernandez in the inaugural held in the entity’s office building. He said the center was built at a cost of RD$159 million, under a transparent and open bidding.

The official said the datacenter would guarantee secure management of applications and information security.

Who your fooling??

Open bid, (YES), but if you don't offer the kick back, you'll never get the check. So everyone participating already knows that. We're talking about 15 Million kick back distributed between the "DR Administartor" and the stupid guy in the photo above.

You can't imagine how happy he is, where else he can make that much money in one deal.

This are the same supplier of the "Junta Central Electoral" and the other bidders belong to the same people.

We're watching them very close.
