Santo Domingo.- Dominican Microst, the National Police and the Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) held the seminar "Integration of the Dominican Republic to the Europe Council  Agreement to fight cybercrime," to discuss topics of the fight against that felony.

Microsoft Dominicana general manager Juan Lora, Europe Council delegate and head of the Social Security and Criminality area Alexander Seger; Indotel executive director Jose Alfredo Rizek and general Claudio Peguero, of the National Police, headed the event.

Lora said the activity is part of Microsoft Dominicana’s corporative social responsibility program, which in addition to promoting the local economy’s digital inclusion and knowledge, incorporates responsible businesses practices and the discussion of key topics on the national agenda, such as information technology and informatics security.
