The closing of most big clubs was due to the great tirant Giuliani. He was solely responsible for crushing NY nightlife under the pretext of drugs...The Palladium was a landmark in NY and will never be forgotten. The architeture was amazing and the history behind the performances unforgettable. It's a pitty that this city has allowed baffoons like this one to nock down and destroy landmarks just like that bastard Moses who destroyed the old Penn Station building, a true Beaux-Arts jewel.
