Santo Domingo.– Ten members of Rajasthani Folk Dance group of "Living Arts" led by Shri Madan Lal are in the Dominican Republic as part of their tour of Spain and Latin America.

Sponsored by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the group performed last night at Centro Cultural Narciso González, in the Dominican capital, and will have free presentations tonight, 4 October at 8:30 pm at the Gran Teatro del Cibao, in Santiago, and on Monday, 6 October at 6 pm at the Aula Magna of the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo.

The event is also sponsored by the Embassy of India –in Cuba. Rajasthani Folk Dance group is also taking their show to Cuba and Mexico.

at least they have some culture, instead of merengue, bachata...dealing with a 2000 years in that country
