MIAMI.- Aventura, the New York band of Dominican origin took four awards on Thursday, becoming the big winner in the 20th Lo Nuestro Prizes, one of the major and the oldest Latin music distinctions.

Puerto Rican merengue star Olga Tañón won three prizes, including an award by for successful 20-year career. Winning two prizes each were the Mexican rock band Mana and their compatriots, the band Camila, the Dominican bachata and pop king Juan Luis Guerra, and the Puerto Ricans Winsin and Yandel.
