Santo Domingo.– Renowned Sapanish singer and songwriter Jose Luis Perales will perform at Santo Domingo's National Theater 30 and 31 October, and at Cibao's Centro Español de Santiago on the 28th.

The living legend has been in the game for a long time, after debuting with 'Mis Canciones' in 1973. He has composed for some of the biggest names in Hispanic music, such as Miguel Bosé, Julio Iglesias and Isabel Pantoja.

His composition "Porque Te Vas" ("Because You're Leaving") propelled Spanish-Belgian singer Jeanette to international recognition in the early seventies.

Songs like "Y Como Es El?" ("What's He Like?")  and, perhaps his most famous composition, "Te Quiero," ("I Love You") are classics treasured by lovers of Latin music.
