Santo Domingo.– Groups from Cuba, Argentina, United States, France, Spain and  Dominican Republic will be on stage during this year’s Casa de Teatro Jazz Festival, which started June 18 and will be held every Thursday throughout this month and July at 9:00 p.m.

This year the festival is dedicated to Guillo Carías, internationally-renown jazz conductor, arranger and trumpet player and resident of the Dominican Republic.

According to Freddy Ginebra, Casa de Teatro director, the event already welcomed Cuban Roberto Carcases and his trio –who performed last Thursday–, Bryan Lynch, Paula Shokron, Natalia Calderon, Ossia Saxsophons, Rafael Mirabal and his Sistema Temperado, and Patricia Pereyra.
