Come on guys, let's be more optimistic and stop looking at the half empty glass.
Czech females are beautiful, long legged, sexy and friendly too.
We need some of those genes to counter act the ugly haitians genes that have made our country more cafe con leche than leche con cafe.

DR is rapidly becoming a World hub with fligts to many countries. Flights to Sau Paulo and other S, American cities are starting. Some direct link to the Paific region, maybe China etc. could be next. The Chines are already important tourists for France.

RTW trips via DR are becoming viable. Russian busnessmen can fly here directy from Moscow then on on to South America etc .with no visas etc. In your business the direct flights may have the potential of making caviar imports easier - good Caviar is no longer easy in the US. Cuban cigars are available here - not in the US. Direct flights to France helps in import of food needed for good French cusine. DR could copy Prague delivery system.
http://www.capsu.org/features/pneumatic_tube_system_in_prague.html
Chlebicky and Pecena Kachna are good in Prague. Hotels, beer are very reasonable.

To make the Russian tourists feel at home; supply cruise ships, satisfy discerrning US tourists who cannot easily obtain it at home. The Russian tourists will be paying up to 3000-4000 dollars per ticket flying upper class from Moscow - they will expect good food.

abc, why would someone coming here for a week need a delicacy that they can get for half the price when they go back home? some might, but that is a lot of money to tie up in a luxury item. let them learn to try something local. maybe it is time for some local guys to experiment with a high grade pate.

The DR is stealing the Cuban market for sure:
http://www.cuban-cigar.com/cigar_news_2-Aug-08.html

Roy Howells, one of Churchill’s valets, wrote in his book, Simply Churchill, “It took me a little while to get used to the fact that in two days his cigar consumption was the equivalent of my weekly salary.”

i must agree with the observations of GC regarding russians here. i know very little about their inner secrets, but they are some of the cheapest people i have seen. those whom i encounter never seem to seek out a decent meal, let alone caviar. give them a 100 peso plato del dia, and all is well with the world. then they leave the waitress 2 pesos, and leave the area with a grin and copious belches; life is good!

not i, anthonyc. i find no entertainment in killing for sport. i am sure that it is a great rush, and gets the old adrenaline boiling. however, i do not think that the end result is as pleasing to the boar ,as it is to you. since i would rather not be gored by a wild boar on the way to the supermarket, i refrain from considering the idea of doing them any injury. "do unto others....."

So you are equating the life of a pig to that of a Human Being?

BTW The Boar is consumed after the hunt and by harvesting the Boar we are doing benifit to the eco-system.

can you give me some documented evidence that killing wild boar does a service to the ecosystem? point me to an argument which supports your argument. besides, i do not need to equate animals and humans in order to be compassionate to animals. you see, i am not a religious nut, but i believe that there is a force greater than i am. since he did not give me a list of the pecking order of creatures, i do not assume that i have the right to gratuitously kill animals for sport. on the contrary, given how incomprehensibly foul some humans can be, i sometimes believe that animals are superior

GC, thank you for the article. i read it, and now i understand you better. it is an article which offers arguments, pro and con, regarding the positive, and negative, aspects of the animal. but you choose only one side, and offer it as your doxology. that is not the thought process of adults. people who seek to expand their minds have to see things from antipodal positions, not just from the side which suits their argument. it is a challenge, but, with perseverance, it is not insurmountable.

GC, using that argument, out of control humans are the most dangerous creatures on earth. sometimes i feel the urge to eradicate some of them, but instinct must be controlled by temperance. and just about every animal on earth, at some point, and in some environment , presents a threat. i do not want to be attacked by out of control bees, but i do like honey ,sometimes.
