Santo Domingo.- Sergio Vargas, Peña Suazo, Diomedes & El Grupo Mio, Omega and Julian Oro Duro, among others, are scheduled to perform in Expo Monte Plata 2008, which starts today and ends on Sunday at the capital's fairgrounds.

Monte Plata (east) is the only province whose production, ecotourism and cultural fair is held in one city and concludes in Santo Domingo.

The event will have culinary, recreation and horse riding attractions, including the famous ride from Monte Plata to the capital.
