if the DR is hoping for any Cruise industry recognition in the future they had better get in shape and tame the dumb@ss taxi sindicatos or they will have egg on their face .....Also the guia touristicas are Guarapatas and slime balls and they need to have their wings clipped ..Also no more cheeseball gift shops in the Zona Colonial...Josean always wanted to be a tour guide but he did not have enough convictions on his rap sheet...........

DR will become No. 1 cruise destination. Cruise passengers I meet are amazed it is not on more itineraries. It's a wonderful natural paradise with some of the biggest and best cared for national parks in the Caribbean - plus superb entertainment.

This will make a huge difference when fully developed. If cars can be prohibited from large pedestrian zones SD connoisseurs of fine Dominican chocolate will be be able to travel in an exceptional environment from one tasting to another without their palates being sullied by the acrid fumes of motor vehicles. The DR is of course the origin of many of the finest single estate chocolates in the World - the tourist and trade potential of this fine resource should never be underestimated.

The 1er Cru Bars

While all of Michel Cluizel’s chocolates are tops, the top of the tops are his 1er (Premier) Cru de Plantation bars. He makes a separate tasting box of single origin cacao bars, where one can compare the differences in flavor among premium cacaos grown in the regions of the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Ghana, Grenada, Java, Madagascar and Venezuela. He also makes delicious blended bars (more about these products below). But the 1er Cru bars are his finest product, made from the beans of the finest cacao plantations in three of these locations and two others.
DR has made it to 1er Cru Bars...... Los Anconès.....

Character: Los Anconès is probably one of the best chocolates in the world. The unusual flavor might require minor acclimation, but it quickly impresses with its remarkable collection of flavors. After an initial note of licorice, there are flavors of cherry cordial, then currants and green olives, with an unexpected hit of apricots on the finish. Los Anconès is also more intense than might be expected for a 67% cacao, and thus surprises with strength as well as flavor.

You a slave?
"Man is the only Slave. And he is the only animal who enslaves. He has always been a slave in one form or another, and has always held other slaves in bondage under him in one way or another. In our day he is always some man's slave for wages, and does that man's work; and this slave has other slaves under him for minor wages, and they do his work. The higher animals are the only ones who exclusively do their own work and provide their own living."

Socialism

A progressive political system that takes the power away from wealth creators and gives it to wealth distributors. Wealth distributors are typically a class of highly trained government bureaucrats who are being watched by a class of political commissars, who, in turn, are being watched by a class of secret police, all of whom are banded together by shared progressive morals. Because progressive morals are relative by definition, a certain measure of absolute propaganda is necessary to encourage collectivism and discourage counter revolution. Since such propaganda is delivered through mass media, arts, and schools, a degree of ideological monopoly, uniformity, and censorship is also required in those fields. The resulting mass enthusiasm creates a vibrant state-subsidized culture, leading to great economic successes and technological breakthroughs, e.g., in North Korea.

What happened to your previous drivel about the false concept of private property, as practiced by conservative individuals of little or no moral authority.
Property
Collective possession. Cannot be private. The false concept of private property is a Big Lie. No one has the moral right to claim ownership to the world's limited resources that belong to everybody.

No, I have no problem in a social democracy of responsible stewardship of private property by individuals . I am not a collectivist in regards to small properties. However if some Lord owns a whole river and claims that all the fish belong to him - or a king owns a whole forest - The statute of Gloucester laid the foundations for a property owning democracy. Great estates were divided up and slowly people moved from being vassals to having modern soclal obligations and rights.
Certainly the obligations of an individual to live in an eco-friendly manner, such as in this property, are best served by lease or ownership being possible.

The Russain Hell has gone but that of the US is still here:
The media chosen by the U.S.A. to represent it in Europe continually proclaim that the secret of life is solved: the radio-refrigerator is what humanity was waiting for. And furthermore the new Buick model will have 170 horsepower. The theme runs like a red thread through everything we hear from America: the great democracy is inhabited by humans of a new kind, by splendid, half-mechanical giant babies who live on canned tomato juice and synthetic vitamins. In America they add artificial sweetener and vanilla flavoring to the chocolate. Those super-red apples have long been a well-known product of American culture. But last Christmas I came across some oranges of particularly tempting, chrome-yellow splendor. When I pressed the first one, the color came off on my fingers. And sure enough: on the rind was stamped "Color added." The color was as false as a technicolor film. For me that was a novelty at the time.

The idea of brotherhood lies so deep in European culture that we can find it in all shades. It is our picture of the world. And if one cannot see the parallelism in such different formulations as Francis of Assisi's "brother ass" / "brother sparrow" / "brother wolf" and Darwin's doctrine of the origin of species, then one is either a religious or a scientific dogmatist.

Freedom and equality are thoughts which would never have been thought had the idea of brotherhood not provided fertile soil. But once they are there, they can forget their origin and take on lives of their own. Europe embraced the holy, threefold motto: liberty, equality, fraternity. The West chose freedom. The East chose equality. But freedom without brotherhood is the economic and social law of the jungle. Without brotherhood freedom becomes divorced from equality.

We know blut has no brothers.........
